This season is now over and we bade our guests farewell this week. Having got to know some of them quite well we hope some will call in to see us at Coffee Stop sometimes. Several more of the men had good news to share with keys to pick up to rooms or flats in the next few days and some with some work. Many thanks go to the Project Caseworker, Raj, and to Beverley, the Project Coordinator, who have been working so hard all this time trying to find ways to support these men and to help them into a more stable life styles that offer more permanence.
Thankyou! None of this would have been possible without the wonderful work of so many people – welcomers, overnight shift workers, the cooks of wonderful home-cooked meals, bedmakers, table setters, breakfast cooks and all who have shown an interest in what has been happening. Dinnie, Margaret and Steve would like to thank everyone from Bell Road and from St Mary’s who have given up their time week by week over the past four months. It is enjoyable and worthwhile but it also a big commitment especially by those who helped very regularly. Thankyou!
An Invitation: There will be a Service of Thanksgiving for all God’s blessing and provision this past winter this Monday (March 30th) at 7.30pm at St Paul’s Church in Brentford. All who have been involved from all the churches taking part are very warmly invited. There will be non-alcoholic drinks and snacks served afterwards with an opportunity to meet others from the different churches.
Please come along.
